Madison Starts Sidewalk Replacement
Green Village Road project expected to last a week.

MADISON, NJ - The replacement of the Green Village Road sidewalk began on Wednesday, Sept. 19 is expected to last a week, according to officials. The work will be done, weather permitting, along the stretch of sidewalk that runs between Woodcliff Drive and Glenwild Road.
The contractor Goldcon, Inc. will be doing the work and is expected to pour out replacement patches in roughly 200 foot lengths. During the work, portions of the sidewalk will be inaccessible for up to three days each.
Traffic control during school drop-off and pick-up will be handled by the Madison Police Department, and the sidewalk on the other side of Green Village Road will remain open and accessible.
