Madison Student Athletes Honored By NJSIAA

Students were awarded scholarships for their achievements.

MADISON, NJ — Three Madison student athletes were honored by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) for academic excellence and dedicated to high school sports.

All NJSIAA member school can nominated student athletes. Each athlete earns at least $500 in scholarship money.

  • Ellie Martine: Field Hockey, basketball swimming at the Academy Of St Elizabeth High School.
  • Kelly Edwards: Volleyball, basketball, softball at Madison Boro High School
  • Jaime Sheppard: Field Hockey, Basketball, Indoor & Spring Track at Morristown Beard High School

“These student-athletes worked extremely hard in the classroom and in their respective sports to stand out from their peers,” says Steve Timko, the NJSIAA’s executive director. “This luncheon is our way of applauding their efforts and wishing them well as they begin college.”
