Madison Students to March in Thanksgiving Day Parade

Madison High School Seniors, Sean Bennett and Sabrina Lu, to march in the Country's Oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade In Philadelphia

Sabrina Lu and Sean Bennett, both seniors at Madison High School, will be marching with the Tournament of Bands All Star Marching Band in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Sean will be participating in the parade as a snare drummer. Sabrina will be participating as part of the auxiliary. They will be joining 170 other young performers representing participating Tournament of Band schools from 6 different states.

The 1.4-mile Thanksgiving Day Parade is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the country and a true Philadelphia tradition. Now in its 99th year, the annual Thanksgiving Day parade promises to be a visual and celebratory feast.

Sean is currently playing center snare for the Madison Marching Dodgers drumline and is also the drumline captain. Sabrina is a member of the color guard for the Madison Marching Dodgers and is also a co-captain of the color guard. This past marching band season the Madison Marching Dodgers placed 6th with a score of 93.40 in the Atlantic Coast Championships. Go Marching Dodgers!
