Morris Arts Music & Arts Festival Back In Madison

MADISON, NJ - The 36th annual Morris Arts Giralda Music and Arts event brings food, activities, picnic opportunities to Madison's Giralda Farms on Sunday.

The program is set to run from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event will feature light classics performed by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. At the same time, guests can picni and partake in an art/fine crafts show and sale, sample various food trucks, participate in family/children's arts activities, or visit with family and friends.

Gates open at 4 p.m. for picnics and activities, and the concert begins at 6 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the most inventive picnics, and a 50/50 raffle for generous cash prizes supports the scholarship program.

The 2019 program features Conductor Jose Luis Dominguez and the New York Symphony Orchestra:

"Celebrate the diversity of the Americas with the NJSO this summer. Explore the continents with concert, theater and dance music from Leonard Bernstein, José Pablo Moncayo, Astor Piazzolla, Florence Price, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin. Hear hits from West Side Story and Porgy and Bess, travel to Mexico with Arturo Marquez’s Conga del Fuego Nuevo and experience patriotic favorites along with Copland’s classic “Hoe Down” from Rodeo."
