Morris County Man Took Peeping Pics In Business Bathroom: PD

Joan S. Acosta-Gacha took photographs in the women's bathroom in the Giralda Farms complex, Madison Police said.

MADISON, NJ - A 24-year-old Rockaway man was arrested and charged with taking peeping pics in a women's bathroom on July 5, according to the Madison Police Department.

Joan S. Acosta-Gacha was arrested and charged with invasion of privacy after the incident, police said.

According to authorities Patrolman Matthew Mirabella was dispatched to a business in the Giralda Farms complex to investigate a suspicious incident shortly after 9 a.m.

A victim reported that an unknown person took photographs under a bathroom stall while she was utilizing the women’s bathroom and after an investigation, Acosta-Gacha was developed as a suspect and was arrested, police said.

Acosta-Gacha was charged with 4th degree invasion of privacy and he was released pending a court appearance in Morris County Superior Court. He was also given a trespass warning barring him from the location of the alleged crime, police said.
