Municipal Budget Public Hearing, Final Vote Set for Friday

A public hearing and final vote on the 2014 municipal budget is set for Friday evening.
The meeting, which has twice been postponed, will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hartley Dodge Municipal Building.
The proposed $29,557,746 budget will drop property taxes 1.32 percent—$35.39 for the average borough home assessed at $667,218, according to the Madison Eagle.
