Woman Struck, Killed At Madison Train Station
New Jersey Transit police haven't publicly identified the woman.
MADISON, NJ — A woman died after a train struck her Monday afternoon at the Madison Station. New Jersey Transit continued the investigation into Monday evening.
The incident, which involved a train traveling to Dover, occurred at about 4:15 p.m. Monday. Authorities haven't publicly identified the woman.
No crew or passengers were injured. Trains are operating with a 15-minute delay, an NJ Transit spokesperson said at about 5:45 p.m. Monday.

The pedestrian was struck on the Madison on the Madison westbound platform, according to a borough spokesperson. All train service will occur on the eastbound side until the investigation concludes.
Madison police were first to respond, and New Jersey Transit police are leading the investigation.
