Porch Pirate Pilfering Packages Arrested In Madison: Cops

Terry L. Taylor stole several Amazon boxes from homes, according to authorities.

MADISON, NJ - After weeks of missing packages, a porch pirate has been charged with the crimes, according to the Madison Police Department.

On Sunday, Detective Ken Shannon arrested 64-year-old Terry L. Taylor, of Newark, for the thefts after weeks of investigation, according to police.

During several weeks in May, several Madison residents were victim to their Amazon packages being stolen from the front of their residences, police said.

Taylor had been suspected of committing the thefts using his vehicle, a blue 2008 Mazda, police said, and he was charged with 4th degree theft, and he as processed at the Madison Police Department.

Taylor was later transported to Morris County Jail, and he is awaiting his court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
