Prescribed Burn Taking Place Tuesday In Madison
No need for alarm. The NJ Forest Fire Service will oversee the controlled burn at the Madison Recreation Complex.
MADISON, NJ — No need for alarm! Officials will conduct a prescribed burn Tuesday morning at the Madison Recreation Complex.
The controlled burn will take place to remove invasive plants and revitalize the soil in the meadow. Borough officials expect it to last from around 10 a.m. to noon.
Smoke will be visible throughout the burn site. But the forecast projects the light breeze blowing it toward The Green At Florham Park/Jets Training Facility/Route 24.
