Sally Barylick, 50 Year Madison Ambulance Volunteer, Passes Away
The life member was 96 years old.

MADISON, NJ— Sally Barylick, a member of the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps for over 50 years, passed away on Monday. She was 96. Barylick served the Corps in a number of positions over the years and responded to hundreds of calls for service.
From the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps:
Sally joined us in 1963 and responded to thousands of calls for service including the delivery of a baby in 1965. Sally held multiple positions in the operations and administration of the corps including president and captain.
In 2003, Sally was honored by the Madison Rotary Club as their citizen of the year. In 2013, she was honored by the Madison Borough Council for her 50 years of service to the borough with MVAC.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, Madison Ave., Convent Station, N.J., on Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, Sally asked that donations be made to the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
