The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

I have been extremely fortunate since August 1, 2008 to own Statements Boutique in beautiful downtown Madison. There is something very special and unique about Madison, and I immediately fell in love with the town as well as the people. My customers (who I cherish) have become family. I've had the privilege of styling them for countless momentous occasions and have seen their daughters grow up to also become Statements shoppers!

I truly love what I do and curate the boutique with all of these wonderful ladies in mind. This coming August marks 12 years of Statements and I pray we can continue to be a Madison community staple.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

Sadly, but understandably, for safety reasons I had to close back in March.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

Until we are up and running again customers can shop online. I am running a 30-percent-off promotion as well as a gift card promotion which can easily be found on the site's homepage!

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We are all in this together and we will come out stronger, more united and humbled. We are also human and will have good and bad days throughout this unprecedented time in history. Most importantly, stay safe and be well! Countless blessings to all of our courageous frontline heroes.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

All online 30-percent-off purchases can be shipped or dropped off at customers homes.

I believe all businesses in town deserve community support always and especially right now!
