$1,500+ In Steak Products Shoplifted From Manalapan Wegmans: Cops

MANALAPAN, NJ - Over $1,500 in merchandise was shoplifted from a Manlapan grocery store earlier this month, authorities said.

On April 4 at around 4:32 p.m., employees of the Wegmans supermarket on Route 9 South reported that approximately $1,526 in items were removed from the store, according to a press release from Manalapan police.

Deputy Chief Leonard Maltese told Patch that a summons was issued on April 16 to Edwin M. Lopez, 35, of Perth Amboy, for shoplifting the various steak products.
