Hundreds of dollars in merchandise was taken from the Manalapan Target retailer, authorities said in a statement.

MANALAPAN, NJ - Hundreds of dollars in merchandise was taken from the Manalapan Target retailer, authorities said in a statement.
On April 12 at approximately 6:28 p.m., loss prevention employees from the Route 9 South location reported that unknown actors removed about $1,700 worth of merchandise and exited the store without paying, Manalapan police said.
The actors fled the store through a fire exit located in the rear of the store, police said.

The incident was handled by Ptl. Mathew Mattia and is pending further investigation.
