2K Moderna Vaccine Slots Available At Brookdale College This Week

MONMOUTH COUNTY - Hundreds of COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available in Monmouth County this week, officials said.

To be exact, 2,000 Moderna vaccines are up for grabs this week alone at Brookdale Community College, Monmouth County Commissioner Tom Arnone said. Appointments are available for residents who are 18 years old or older and live, work or attend school in Monmouth County.

Monmouth County’s vaccination sites administer the Moderna vaccine, which is not approved for anyone under the age of 18. To schedule an appointment, go to www.visitmonmouth.com or click here.

Arnone also announced this week that the commissioners have been in talks with officials from all 53 county municipalities to discuss vaccinating lifeguards, beach staff and summer camp staff.

“We will be putting together a comprehensive plan to get these workers vaccinated before the summer season begins,” Arnone said.
