$490+ In Items Lifted By Manalapan Target Ex-Employees, Cops Say
Two separate reports of hundreds of dollars in merchandise thefts were made by loss prevention employees from the store, authorities said.

MANALAPAN, NJ - Hundreds of dollars in merchandise has been reportedly lifted from the Manalapan Target store on Route 9, authorities said. According to the local police department’s latest blotter, the merchandise was taken by former employees.
According to statements from the Manalapan Township Police Department, two separate incidents of theft were reported on June 1 at 11:12 a.m. and 11:31 a.m., respectively, when loss prevention employees reported the theft of $232.49 and $265 in merchandise.
“They do appear to be related but the matter is still under investigation,” Deputy Chief Leonard Maltese told Patch. No arrests have been made, nor have names been released at this time.
