MANALAPAN, N.J. (Oct. 26, 2020) – The Kurlander Group, led by Alan Kurlander and affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in Marlboro/Manalapan, achieved major sales milestones and recognition year-to-date in 2020 despite early-year market challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of late October, The Kurlander Group has closed over $100,000,000 in sold listings and sales. They also have another $40,000,000 in pending sales.

The Kurlander Group currently ranks No. 2 in both units sold and sales production among all large teams (four-plus members) affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey in Rockland County, New York.

“During 2020, no doubt a very challenging year, it is a tribute to our team for overcoming some very difficult setbacks,” said Kurlander.

While the traditionally busy early spring market ground to a halt during lockdown, it is now witnessing an incredibly high level of activity. “I believe there are multiple factors that created the perfect storm for the real estate market in Marlboro and Manalapan to explode,” said Kurlander. “People are leaving New York City, Staten Island and Brooklyn. Workplaces in Manhattan are now allowing employees to work from home three to four days a week. Buyers are wanting to be in less crowded areas. There are low interest rates on home mortgages, and taxes here remain significantly lower than in north Jersey.”

For the eleventh consecutive year in 2020, New Jersey Monthly Magazine named Kurlander a Five Star Real Estate Agent based on surveys of highly satisfied clients. In addition, Kurlander was named a Real Estate Market Leader by Five Star Professional on its “The 500 List” of top agents in the nation, a recognition published by Forbes. He also earned this distinction in 2018 and 2019.
