Current Councilmen Voted Back into Englishtown Office

Lou Sarti and Greg Wojyn ran unopposed in the Englishtown election.

Election day was quiet for Englishtown Borough with no challengers going up against Republican incumbents Greg Wojyn and Lou Sarti for Borough Council. 

Wojyn and Sarti both won the election and regained their seats on the Council. Wojyn received 48.19 percent of the vote and Sarti received 50.6 percent of the vote, according to the unofficial election results provided by the Monmouth County Clerk M. Clare French. There were seven write-ins for the seats and 579 votes total were cast. 

On the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education, Elizabeth Canario was running for reelection with no challengers. Canario, who represents Englishtown on the Board,  won with 99.16 percent of the vote.

There was no election for an Englishtown representative on the Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education as that position is currently filled by Lori Semel who ran unopposed last year.
