
The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint in Manalapan to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The checkpoint will be run from 11 p.m. Friday through 3 a.m. Saturday on Route 9 south.
Task force members and Manalapan police will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes into the Sun Bank parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.
