First-Ever Manalapan Police Youth Academy This Summer

MANALAPAN, NJ — Hey local kids and their parents: Sign up now for the Manalapan Twp. Police Youth Academy this summer! This is the first year Manalapan police are offering the youth academy, and it will run for five days this summer, from July 22 - July 26.

The Manalapan Police Youth Academy provides an opportunity for teenagers to engage in their interests in law enforcement through police academy style training, instructional classes, physical fitness and drills.

The Academy runs from July 22 - July 26 this summer and it's a $50 enrollment fee. Hours of daily activities: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location: Manalapan High School

Fee: $50.00 (Covers cost of uniforms, supplies and activities)

Eligible ages: 13 years old to 16 years old at time of academy

Anyone interested in participating is required to complete a pre-application and drop it off at Manalapan Police headquarters no later than June 15, 2019.
