Forsgate Offers Summer Golf Lessons For Kids 4-16

MONROE, NJ — Do you want your son or daughter to learn the fun, challenging game of golf? It's not too early for even a 4-year-old to take lessons!

Forsgate Country Club, located in Monroe Township, has announced the dates for its popular summer Future Star Junior Golf Camps this summer. The Future Star Junior Golf Camp is designed specifically for the beginner to intermediate junior player and is open to children of both club members and non-members. Early enrollment for youngsters ages 4-16 is essential to ensure a place in one of the three available sessions.

The program includes: professional instruction with putting, chipping, irons and woods; video analysis; on course play; rules and etiquette; fitness activities; interactive games and prizes. Camp dates are: Week 1 (July 15-19); Week 2 (July 29-August 2); Week 3 (August 5-9). The non-member cost per camp is $320 and $300 for members, with a $75 deposit required to reserve a spot. Each camp is limited to the first registered 30 juniors. Camps are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided. For more information, call the pro shop at (732) 656-8953.

Forsgate’s Director of Golf Carolyn McKenzie Andrews, a Top 50 U.S. Kids Golf Master teacher, heads the camp instructional team that includes PGA Head Golf Professional Mike Furey, a certified U.S. Kids Golf instructor, and PGA First Assistant Justin Rohrig.
