Jersey Cares Coat Drive to End this Week

Here is a look at what is going on this week in Manalapan and Englishtown.

Schools

Manalapan High School is starting their mid-term examinations this week beginning on Wednesday and going through Monday, Feb. 3. 

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is meeting this Tuesday at the district administration building on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. This is a rescheduled board of education meeting as last week’s meeting was canceled due to the inclement weather. 

Tax Seminar

The Monmouth County Library is holding a seminar this week about how to increase your tax refund. “Tax Seminar: 12 Ways to Increase Your Refund from the IRS” will take place on Thursday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. IRS Enrolled Agent Alex Ermoloff will speak about twelve tax items that may help you increase your tax refund. Ermoloff will also be discussing the Affordable Care Act , Tax Law Changes for Calendar Year 2013, Noteworthy Items for Calendar Year 2014, and Estate Tax Planning. Registration is necessary. Coat Drive 

The Jersey Cares Coat Drive, which Manalapan Township is participating in, is ending this Friday. So if you have some old coats that you no longer need, consider dropping them off at the Manalapan Township Municipal Building this week.
