3. Cat Contest: Is your cat a star? Enter your feline into the Walker Art Center Internet Cat Video Festival, being presented at the Monmouth County Library on Sept. 21. The deadline for submissions is Aug 21. For more information about the contest, click here. 

4. Wildlife Rehabilitation Farm: Did you know that there is a wildlife rehabilitation farm located nearby? Noel’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Farm in Howell cares for injured and abandoned wildlife. The non-profit organization is run by state licensed wildlife rehabilitators. Learn more about the organization on their Facebook page and "like" them for updates on all of the animals they rescue.
