Manalapan DPW to Collect Christmas Trees Curbside
Here is a look at what is going on in Manalapan and Englishtown today.
1. Weather: Despite being sunny, today will be frigid with a high temperature of 11 with a wind chill value as low as −14, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts today may reach as high 37 MPH. Tonight will be mostly clear with the low dropping to about 4 with the wind chill reaching s low as −11.
2. Christmas Tree Pick-Up: If all of your ornaments are down, consider tossing your Christmas tree out on the curb today as the Department of Public Works will be going around town collecting them. If you haven’t taken all of your decorations down yet, the DPW will also be collecting trees on Jan. 14 and Jan. 21.
3. Schools: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is holding their reorganization meeting at the district administration building, located at 54 Main Street in Englishtown, at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
