MANALAPAN, NJ - Drivers in Manalapan should plan extra time if traveling in the area of Manalapan High School on Thursday, authorities said.

Due to the Manalapan High School graduation ceremony, heavy traffic can be expected in the area of Route 522 and Tennant Road on Thursday, the Manalapan Township Police Department said in a statement.

The high volume of traffic should be expected between 4 and 6 p.m.

“Please plan an alternate route and avoid the area if possible,” police wrote.
