Government

  • The Channel 77 Volunteers are meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Municipal Building on Monday at 7 p.m.
  • The Transportation Committee is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Municipal Building on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Teen Leadership Committee is meeting in the downstairs portion of the Manalapan Police Department within the Manalapan Municipal Building on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Manalapan High School Freshman Orientation

All high schools within the Freehold Regional High School District are having ninth grade orientation on Wednesday. Incoming freshman students must report to Manalapan High School school from 7:25 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for orientation. 

Intro to PCs Class

The Monmouth County Library is holding a computer introduction class on Wednesday at 10 a.m. This hands-on class covers basic computer terms, files and folders, saving and retrieving files, opening and closing a program, and switching between programs. The class, which is an hour and a half long, will be practicing on the Windows 7 operating system. The class will not go over Mac computers or the internet. Registration is required. 

Rosh Hashanah 

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins Wednesday evening and ends Friday evening.

The Freehold Regional School District and Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday.
