Manalapan To Offer COVID Vaccine Clinic April 16 For Residents

The Pfizer vaccine will be available to 200 Manalapan residents through a clinic at CentraState hospital. Here's how to register:

MANALAPAN, NJ - Manalapan Township is offering 200 vaccine appointments to eligible residents, according to an announcement made Wednesday by Mayor Jack Naboe.

Appointments will be available Friday, April 16 through a partnership with CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold. The vaccination clinic will take place at the Freehold location
(901 W Main Street, Freehold NJ 07728) from 9 to 11:15 a.m. Residents are asked to bring an insurance card and photo identification to the vaccination site.

The Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the site. Second dose appointments will be scheduled on-site three weeks after April 16 for the same time slot.

“If you cannot commit to the second appointment time, please do not make a reservation for this clinic,” Naboe said.

There are 200 currently offered, with 140 already committed as of Wednesday afternoon. Residents who meet current statewide qualifications for vaccines can register. To schedule an appointment, contact the Manalapan Township Senior Center at (732) 446-8401 or Manalapan Township Administration at (732) 446-8308.

Manalapan has already assisted hundreds of residents 55 years old and over with vaccination appointments. Homebound residents or those without reliable transportation can email mayor@mtnj.org to explore options to get vaccinated.
