Manalapan Patrolman Promoted At June Ceremony

Manalapan Police Department Patrolman Philip Accatatta was promoted to the rank of Sergeant earlier this month, authorities said.

MANALAPAN, NJ - One of Manalapan’s finest was recently promoted to a higher rank at a ceremony at town hall earlier this month.

On June 16, the Manalapan Township Police Department promoted Ptl. Philip Accatatta to the rank of Sergeant.

Accatatta has been with the Manalapan Township Police Department since 2012, having previously served with the Englishtown Police Department from 2010 to 2012 after graduating from the Monmouth County Police Academy, as well as the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department as a Class II police officer after graduating from the Ocean County Police Academy in 2009.

Patrolman Accatatta will be assigned as a Sergeant to the Uniformed Patrol Bureau.
