"It’s kind of hard to believe it right now, but it must be true. Yes, I am a United States Olympian, and I couldn’t be happier or prouder," Robby told the Asbury Park Press after his qualifying finish Sunday. "All the hard work, all those miles, all those tough days, they've all been worth it."

Robby joins other New Jerseyites competing in the Summer 2016 Olympics: Laurie Hernandez, 16, of Old Bridge, on the U.S. Women's gymnastics team; Connor Jaeger, of Rumson-Fair Haven, a swimmer (his second time competing in the Olympics) and Sydney McLaughlin, a senior at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, who will run for the U.S. Women's track and field team. Congratulations and best of luck to Robby and all our New Jersey Olympians!
