Mandatory Info Sessions For Students Who Plan To Apply To Monmouth County Academies

The district has 5 career academies, including the Marine Academy of Science and Technology at Sandy Hook.

Attention parents of eighth-graders: if your child wants to attend one of the county’s career academies next year, you must attend one of the upcoming information sessions.

The Monmouth County Vocational School District academies will hold information sessions for eighth-graders who want to apply as a member of the Class of 2020.

“Monmouth County’s career academies have established themselves as state and national leaders of secondary education,” Freeholder Lillian G. Burry said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to welcoming the next class. It all begins with a parent and student attending an information session over the next few months.”
