State Aid For Manalapan Schools Dips For 2020-21 Year: Report
This upcoming year, Manalapan-Englishtown public schools will receive $14.9 million from the state, down 13.4 percent from last year.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Gov. Phil Murphy released his revised state aid figures last week, leaving Manalapan-Englishtown public schools with about two million less than they had last year.
For the upcoming 2020-21 school year, Manalapan-Englishtown public schools will receive over $14.9 million from the state, down 13.4 percent from the $17.2 million received in 2019.
This year's grand total will include $1,968,298 in transportation aid, $427,473 in security aid and $3,767,124 in special education aid.

The first day for Manalapan-Englishtown public schools is Sept. 8, and the district is still on track to do its hybrid plan, with some students in school on alternating days of the week. Students at Clark Mills School, Lafayette Mills School, Taylor Mills School and Milford Brook School, as well as all sixth grade students at Pine Brook School, will follow a remote learning schedule for the month of September.
