Watch 'Jersey Shore' Cast Party In Their New Manalapan Home

When Brick denied them a permit to film, Manalapan said yes. 'Jersey Shore' filmed out of 18 Kinney Road; the first episode airs Nov. 1.

MANALAPAN, NJ — The cast of "Jersey Shore" is back and filming their latest season, "Jersey Shore Family Vacation," out of Manalapan. The first episode airs Thursday night, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m./7 Central on MTV.

Yes, Snooki and the gang have left the sun and surf of Seaside Heights for the rolling Monmouth County countryside; specifically, 18 Kinney Road in Manalapan. MTV released a teaser of tonight's episode, which features Snooki and Ronnie as the first roommates to arrive in the house, and they immediately proceed to make daiquiris and get drunk (Patch has the video below).

From there, a taxi picks them up — Snooki tells the driver he was rude to beep, and he should "watch his manners" — and they head to 618 Restaurant on Park Avenue in Freehold for dinner. Snookie can be heard saying "look at all these hoes" as she walks in, and then orders a double Tito's with soda.

MTV filmed Snooki, Ronnie, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and others at the home from July 19 to Aug. 6 this past summer. MTV rented out a six-bedroom mansion on Kinney Road, pictured above, which features a pool and guest house out back, a gym in the basement (we guess for all that GTL) and a sweeping staircase, according to the house's listing on Realtor.com.

Snookie and Ronnie dined at 618 Restaurant in Freehold this past July; you might have seen them.

However, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who actually grew up in Manalapan, will likely be noticeably absent this season, as he admitted in January of this year to hiding millions of dollars from the IRS so he wouldn't have to pay taxes. Sorrentino was sentenced just this past October to eight months in prison, and supervised release when he gets out of jail. JWoww tweeted him Nov. 1 that "she missed him."

Sorrentino is a 2000 graduate of Manalapan High School; he opened a tanning salon in Middletown in 2014. But Boca Tanning Club shut down less than a year later after it was evicted for failure to pay the rent, according to NJ.com. He and his brother conspired to hid taxes due on $8.9 million Sorrentino earned from 2010 to 2012, authorities said.

But the show must go on: Throughout the season, you can see them partying in their Manalapan swimming pool and filmed going to Headliner's club in Neptune and Jenk’s in Point Pleasant Beach.

MTV originally wanted to film “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” at a home overlooking Barnegat Bay in Brick, but officials there denied their permit request, saying they didn't want the area overrun with gawkers and crowds.

Brick Township Business Administrator Joanne Bergin told Patch that Brick denied the request by 495 Productions because they determined it would have the potential to negatively impact the neighborhood, "not only due to the increased activity that comes with filming a TV show, but also the enhanced traffic and presence from curious onlookers and fans of the show hoping to meet/photograph/interact with the stars of the show."

"Using the house to film a TV show is not consistent with a standard residential use," she said at the time.

So Manalapan was their second choice, where town officials approved their permit.

“They gave us parameters, no residents would be on film unless they were vetted in advance and signed a waiver,” Manalapan Mayor Jack McNaboe told Asbury Park Press. “They said they may go to some local businesses, but that was between them and the businesses. I personally have not received a complaint.”

UNICO National, an Italian-American organization, called the show "trash television" before it debuted and the show was derided by Gov. Chris Christie. Tune in Thursday night at 8 p.m./7 Central on MTV.
