The Borough of Belmar, New Jersey, has implemented pay-by-plate paid parking for the east side Ocean Avenue, effective May 8, 2020. The kiosks previously used to accept payment for parking have been replaced with a new mobile application called ParkMobile. ParkMobile is the same app used in other towns with paid parking, including Asbury Park, Jersey City, New York City, and Philadelphia.

The Belmar beachfront has two ParkMobile parking zones: Zone 58101 and Zone 58102.

Zone 58101 covers the East side of Ocean Avenue (nearest the boardwalk) to North Boulevard and 14th Avenue.
