Christine Cardellino is a freelance copywriter and marketing communications professional. She writes and produces the award-winning Belmar Beachcomber Blog, a local travel and tourism guide for the Belmar region of the Jersey Shore.
Prior to launching her freelance writing business in 2002, Cardellino was director of marketing and public relations for an acute care hospital in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She previously served as manager of field communications for Bristol-Myers Squibb in Plainsboro, New Jersey, and as communications coordinator for a professional liability insurance company in Princeton, New Jersey.
Cardellino's freelance work has been recognized with numerous awards for excellence in marketing and communications, including a 2019 Platinum Hermes Creative Award, two Gold Ava Digital Awards, a 2018 Gold DotComm Award, two Gold Hermes Creative Awards, three Gold Aster Awards, and two Silver Healthcare Advertising Awards.
Cardellino earned a B.A. degree in mass communication with high honors from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey). She is a member of the Belmar Business Partnership Board of Trustees and a member of the Belmar Tourist Development Commission.
