The Belmar Business Partnership welcomed a few hundred buccaneers and lassies to its second annual Belmar Pirate Walk on Sunday, June 10. Twenty-seven Belmar businesses took part in the event, which included a treasure hunt for the kids and a gift auction for the adults.

The pirate fest set sail in Belmar's Pyanoe Plaza with a living-history re-enactment depicting the Golden Age of Piracy, 1670-1730, by the Valhallas Pirates of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey.
