Weber Grill Raffle At The Belmar Town-Wide Sidewalk Sale

The Belmar Business Partnership (BBP) is hosting its second annual Belmar Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, August 24, with door prize raffles and musical entertainment.

During the sale hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., participating Belmar shops and businesses will be offering a wide variety of special discounts and giving away free raffle tickets for the door prize raffles. The BBP will be giving away over $1,000 in prizes, including a Weber gas grill from Taylor Hardware ($800 value) and three $100 gift cards to a Belmar business or restaurant of the winner's choice.

To cap off the event, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Danny White Band will perform live in Pyanoe Plaza at 9th Avenue and Main Street. White, who owns Beach Music Studios in Belmar, has performed across the country as singer, songwriter and guitarist of the Danny White Band and also as a solo/acoustic performer.

"Based on last year, this year's sidewalk sale should be even better," said Pat Tecza, co-chair of the BBP's Promotions Committee and owner of Nostalgic Nonsense Vintage Clothing at 903 Main Street. "We have quite a few new businesses in Belmar, and hopefully, this sale will put a spotlight on them."

Bob Losito, owner of Pro Skateboard Shop at 1108 Main Street, adds that last year's sidewalk sale was his single best day of summer of 2018. "I'm expecting this year to be even better," he said.
