The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Advisory for Marlboro Twp. in effect from noon to 10 p.m. Monday. Winds will be 20-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. With the ground saturated from previous rain, trees and power lines will be more susceptible to the adverse effects of strong winds. For the safety of their employees, please note that JCP&L does not send workers up in bucket trucks during high winds.

If you do not have power, please report your outage directly to JCP&L by calling 1-888-544-4877 (1-888-LIGHTSS) or visit the 24/7Power Center at www.jcp-l.com Reporting your outage is very important as it helps them isolate outages and improve restoration times.

Please stay away from downed wires even if you think they are not live. Report downed wires to Marlboro police at 732-536-0100. Do NOT call the police simply to report your power is out - call JCP&L for that. Call police to report downed trees and wires down in the roadway.
