Anonymous Lotto Player Claims $4M Ticket Sold At Monmouth Store
Jackpot! One lucky winner scored a $4,000,000 prizewinning ticket from a Monmouth County store.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ - One lucky New Jersey Lottery player recently scored a $4,000,000 prizewinning ticket from a Monmouth County retailer, according to a lottery spokesperson.
The lucky “200X The Money Bonus” ticket was claimed on Jan. 13. According to NJ Lottery, it’s the top prize in the game - one of three sold in the state - until 2022.
In a Wednesday statement, the New Jersey Lottery released information for all prizes over $1 million that have been claimed anonymously between January 1 and March 31, 2021.

The $4,000,000 ticket serves as the only anonymously-claimed ticket in the county, as well as the only “200X The Money Bonus” game included in the release.
Passaic and Camden counties touted the highest number of anonymous winners on the list, with three each (totalling $24.200,000 + $1,000 per week for life and $3,000,000 respectively). The largest prize claimed anonymously this year hails from a Morris County retailer, where one player scored a $33,200,000 prize from Powerball.

Players who win $599.99 or less from the New Jersey Lottery can claim their prize at any of the Lottery’s nearly 7,000 retailers and be paid immediately in cash, an NJ Lottery spokesperson said. Players who win $600 or more must file a claim with the lottery. The New Jersey Lottery receives around 4,000 claims each month.
