Asbury Park Man Indicted In Colts Neck Car Burglary

A Monmouth County Grand Jury has decided an Asbury Park man should face charges related to a car burglary on Sept. 9, 2013.

James Johnson, 23, of Monroe Avenue was indicted on April 16 by a jury in Freehold.

He faces one count of third degree burglary in the theft of a motor vehicle, and fourth-degree theft of movable property for allegedly stealing clothing and a first aid kit valued in excess of $200.

An indictment is not a conviction. Every defendant is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
