Colts Neck Brewery Honors Eli Manning With Tribute Beer
Source Farmhouse Brewing on Route 34 recently announced the return of its tribute brew for soon-to-be Hall of Famer Eli Manning.
COLTS NECK, NJ - Two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning will be inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame during a virtual ceremony on Sunday – but not before one Colts Neck brewery gets a chance to honor the quarterback’s legacy.
Source Farmhouse Brewery on Route 34 recently announced the return of its ‘ELIte’ craft beer Tribute Imperial North East India Pale Ale, created in honor of Manning, who resides in Summit.
The brew was originally released in January, but quickly sold out of its initial can run, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The craft beer contains 8 percent ABV with notes of joo-see, tangerine and a berry medley, according to the brewery’s website.
"Imperial NEIPA that we brewed as a tribute to future Hall of Famer, Eli Manning. It is bursting with notes of tangerine, blueberry, red Starburst candy, ripe peaches, and roses,” reads the site description. “The mouthfeel is super mellow and soft and the bitterness is restrained to accentuate the fruity interplay of hop flavors.”

Manning was named among the 2020 New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees in July, alongside Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman and “Good Times” star John Amos. The 12th annual induction will take place Oct. 18 with a 1-hour virtual pre-recorded ceremony. The event will be broadcast on television, radio and social media platforms throughout New Jersey, according to the New Jersey Hall of Fame website.
“These Garden State heroes perfectly represent what makes our state great,” says Jon F. Hanson, chairman of the NJHOF in a statement. “It’s our privilege to honor these inductees for their outstanding contributions to our state.”
Manning announced his retirement from the New York Giants in Jan. 22.
