Colts Neck Cheer Finishes Tremendous Season

Colts Neck's D10 Cheer squad placed third at the National AYC Competition in Florida, ending a busy season with big smiles!

Colts Neck cheerleaders started practicing their sideline routines in the summer to support their football counterparts and soon added choreography practices to their busy schedules.

In October the girls had their first meet at the Jersey Shore AYC competition where they placed third in their D10 Small White division. Next, was the Cheer All About It event at Long Branch High School, where the team was honored with the award for best transitional pyramid out of the entire lineup. The girls then won first place in their division at the Big East AYC Championship, advancing them to nationals.

The team continued their rigorous practices, working on their routines and tumbling skills in preparation for the big event. There was much excitement as this was the D10 squad's first trip to a national competition, and many girls had only started cheering in the past year.
