Colts Neck Halloween Curfew

There will be a Halloween curfew in Colts Neck next week.

The curfew will be in effect from Thursday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Nov. 1 for anyone 17-years-old and younger unless they are with an adult, who is at least 21-years-old, or traveling to or from a job or civic, church or school function.

Here’s the rule:

“A curfew has be established for all residents and non-residents seventeen years and under within the jurisdiction of the Township of Colts Neck from the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, each consecutive night, commencing Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. until the morning of Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 5:00 a.m., wherein no resident or non-resident minor shall be entitled to be on the streets, thoroughfares and property in the Township of Colts Neck, other than the property and dwelling wherein said minor resides or is a bona-fide guest of the owner or lessee thereof unless said minor is in the company of an adult of twenty-one years or older, or traveling to or from a civic, church or school function or employment.”
