Colts Neck HS Football Player Named NJ Mini Max Award Winner
Matthew Scully of Colts Neck was one of the top student-athletes recognized by the historic national football club.
COLTS NECK, NJ - One Colts Neck high school student was named among 93 New Jersey high school football players as 2020 Mini Max High School Award winners, Maxwell Football Club president Mark Dianno announced earlier this month.
Matthew Scully of Colts Neck was one of the top student-athletes recognized by the historic national club. In fact, it’s one of the oldest of its kind in the nation, honoring football excellence since 1935.
“This year’s group of Mini-Max winners were challenged by more than just their on-field opponents. They had to contend with circumstances of the pandemic impacting their families, communities, schools, teachers, academics, practices, coaches, and games; yet they consistently rose to meet those challenges and performed extraordinary feats on the fields, in their classrooms and in their respective communities,” Dianno said in a statement.
