Colts Neck Officials Settle on Christmas Tree Collections

Colts Neck joins other municipalities in announcing they will pick up Christmas Trees placed at curbside.

COLTS NECK, NJ - Beginning tomorrow and through the end of the month, the township Public Works Department will be collecting former live Christmas trees.

Unadorned Christmas tree should be placed at curbside and not in the street, especially in view of the potential snowstorm later this week and the likely necessity of plowing.

This pickup will be for live Christmas Trees only. No artificial trees, decorated trees, trees with root balls attached, wreaths, brush, leaves or any other debris will be collected at this time.

Leaf and brush collection will resume in the spring; collection dates will be posted on the township website in March.
