Colts Neck Reformed Church Has Special Christmas Programs

The Colts Neck Reformed Church offers a series of programs - some geared toward children - to keep in mind the holiday spirit.

COLTS NECK, NJ - The Colts Neck Reformed Church. a member of the Reformed Church in America, will have five worship opportunities on Christmas Eve. At 9:15 a.m., a family worship service will be conducted in an interactive way especially geared toward children of all ages. There will be an impromptu pageant as part of the worship service.

The 11:00 a.m. service will be a service of anticipation to observe Advent's fourth Sunday, lighting the four outer candles on the wreath but saving the center Christ candle unlit. It will be lit during the evening services.

The three evening Christmas Eve worship opportunities are at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. These are traditional Christmas Eve worship services with carols and candles. Music will be offered by the Celebration Ringers Handbell Choir and Jubilation! (vocal) Choir at 4 p.m.

The Exultation Ringers Handbell Choir, the Sanctuary (vocal) Choir, and instrumentalists will offer music at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
