On Monday, July 14, the Township will conduct a one-time clean-up of broken tree parts that fell in Tuesday night's storm. Normally there is no collection in July or August.Â
Residents are asked to put brush outside in advance. Brush must be stacked parallel to the curb, no longer than 8 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter in front of a residence, not to extend more than three feet from the curb to the roadway. The Dept. of Public Works asks residents to avoid overlapping piles or stacking brush beside poles, bushes, mailboxes.Â
"Please take special note that this is for brush from the storm only," said Mayor Russell Macnow in a statement to residents. "Brush that is not from storm should not be placed curbside and will not be collected."
