As of 9 a.m. Thursday, gas main work on NJ 79 northbound has prompted a lane shift until mid-afternoon.
MARLBORO, NJ - Construction on NJ 79 in northern Monmouth County has prompted a lane shift until mid-afternoon, authorities said.
Gas main work on NJ 79 northbound north of CR 3/Lloyd Road in Marlboro to Wilson Avenue in Matawan will be completed during the traffic shift starting at 9 a.m., according to a 511NJ alert.
The closure is in effect until 3 p.m. today, the alert reads.
