Police: East Brunswick Man Had Stolen Car, Ran From Officer

David A. Demarco, 27, of Cranbury Circle in East Brunswick, was charged by Marlboro police with theft Tuesday after he allegedly received a stolen 2007 Ford Edge, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

The vehicle had been stolen from Hillside, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Police said he also ran away after being told to stop by a member of the Marlboro Police Department. Bail was set at $2,250.
