Critical road repairs have now been expedited in town, officials said in a municipal alert. Here's where to expect closures:
MARLBORO, NJ - Planned road repairs in Marlboro Township have now been expedited due to safety concerns, with officials dubbing the project an “emergency” effort.
According to a Saturday municipal notice, Nolan Road, immediate emergency streambank and roadway repairs are required on Nolan Road between Dover Court and Reids Hill Road. Nolan Road will be subject to closure and detours to ensure motorists’ safety.
“The Township is expediting the necessary repairs which will require the order and installation of steel sheets to stabilize the area,” the notice said. The exact timing of the closure is still to be determined.
“Once the road closure is required, the Township will send out notifications through the normal email and social media channels.”
