Explosives and explosives effects training is scheduled this week at NWS Earle on Route 34 in Colts Neck, according to a news release from the base.
Residents will periodically hear explosions throughout the week of Oct. 21, detonations are planned for the afternoon hours, weather permitting.
This is regularly scheduled training coordinated by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and NWS Earle.
