Hail Came Down In Marlboro Twp. Thursday

Everyone in New Jersey complained about the never-ending rain, but actual hail came down in the Morganville section of Marlboro Thursday.

MARLBORO, NJ — Everyone in New Jersey may be complaining about the never-ending rain, but actual hail came down in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township on Thursday.

A Morganville resident named Brian sent News 12 this video below of the hail storm. The National Weather Service warned that hail and potentially dangerous thunderstorms could occur Thursday.

In Gloucester and Salem counties in South Jersey, 60-mph wind gusts and penny-size hail were predicted Thursday.

And several counties in South Jersey were badly hit by flooding this week: Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency for Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties. South Jersey towns such as Westville and Bellmawr were hit hard by flooding this week: Three dogs had to be rescued, and at least 50 cars were totaled.

In Burlington County, about 60 homes in Southampton were evacuated due to the Rancocas Creek flooding and the county had to open multiple reception centers for displaced residents.
